D21 is a certified MBE architectural design and consulting firm located in Stoughton Massachusetts. The firm specializes in assisting with procurements, feasibility studies, educational, and affordable housing projects. Inspired by a career focusing on public civic projects.

D21 uses an iterative charrette-based process to comprehensively evaluate options, uncover site-specific architecture, document feasibility, and promote a culturally sensitive design process.

In addition to the minimum submission requirements D21 can move projects from conceptual designs through construction administration on schedule.

D21 Architects holds several MBE/DBE Certifications in the states of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. QUALIFIED DESIGNER

D21 Architects is a qualified designer within the meaning of M.G.L. Chapter 7C, Section 44, employing a Massachusetts registered architect or engineer responsible for as well as being in control of the services to be provided tou you. The firm’s founder, who is also being a Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official, will be the principal in charge for all project assignments and will be the point of contact throughout the duration of all contracts. Professional expertise in major renovations, new construction, and building infrastructure upgrades for private and public sector projects.Fenton has a mastery of experience collaborating with architects, owner’s project managers, school districts, communities, as well as Town and City officials.

LEADERSHIP

The D21 leadership team has extensive architectural experience on a variety of project types. The firm’s leadership team has collaborated with state agencies, local communities, and districts on over 30 state-funded public projects in Massachusetts. These state funded projects are totaling two million square feet in size and approximately $2.2 billion in estimated total project costs. D21 strives to bring high-level service to our clients and we are always thinking about the end-users. The leadership of the firm has demonstrated experience in both comprehensive renovations of existing buildings and new construction.

We have an experienced team that is dedicated and committed to providing thoughtful meaningful designs. When creating building designs, many factors should be considered. D21 understands the importance of the urban context and the scale of associated sites to benefit the built environment. To understand the constraints and the effects on the end-user, our rigorous process consists of multi-massingiterations of test fits from a macro to a micro-scale approach. These massing study models are valuable tools for understanding the many facets of a specific site, or community.
